Joomla says "Author", but CB says "Registered",

15 years 7 months ago #71530 by Ahmad Rusli
Dear all friends...
In New User Registration Type, I set to "Author", so my guest can get write an article as soon as possible. But, when they register by CB, CB directly change to "Registered". Why do this happen? Now my guest can not write and I must change to Author by manual. This is so ineffective and inefficient.
So, I need your help, what I miss?
Thank you for your answer.
:)

you have posted in the CB 1.0 area - is this right?

I assume you are using Joomla 1.5 because Joomla 1.0 series does not support this.

no worries - moving to proper area.

CB 1.1 does not really work that well with Joomla 1.5 series.

This specific feature is supported in CB 1.2.
