[SOLVED] Reactivate Doesn't List Current Year?

11 years 2 months ago - 11 years 2 months ago #220490 by mohsho
I'm pretty sure that I've seen a thread on this topic, but I couldn't find it again.

I have imported subscriptions from another membership system. For memberships that expired in 2011 or earlier, the reactivation year is always listed as the next year, not 2013, as it should be.

And I believe in the old thread that I saw, there was nothing like, "Yes, this is a bug. You can find a patch for it here..." Which I thought was kind of strange, since CBSubs is not a free product.

Help please.

Yes, it's bugged. It's either due to timezone not being set to UTC or the dates for the subscription are messed up. You can fix the dates within CBSubs > Subscriptions and click the id of the subscription under the ID column. Understood you resolved and figured this out already with your below topic.

Ok, so I tried what you said - editing the subscription by clicking on the subscription ID. I didn't change anything, but I clicked on save. I still have the same problem.

The other thread was a bit different and yes I've figured that one out, but it doesn't solve this problem.

Ensure your plan on the Pricing tab has "Manual renewal extends expiration date as follows:" set to "Renewal starts at expiration date or at payment date - whichever happens last (allows free gap)" so the renewal doesn't have to be from date of expiration, but can be from date of renewal.

My plans already had this option selected. Anything else that I can try?

Not that I am aware. It's a bug and we've a bug ticket for it, but it has not been investigated yet. Does it at least renew for the correct year?
