i have a couple of forum posts/questions in regards to paypal advanced. each time i have asked about the use of it, i have been told to use the paypal pro with api credentials to use the paypal advanced.
however i have spoken to paypal about this multiple times & they assure me that will not work. i have been told the following information:
Paypal Advanced does not work with API credentials, it uses a gateway
CBsubs needs to be configured to accept the Paypal Advanced Gateway Setup
i was also told that x.com is a good resource for information about all Paypal integrations.
Could you please let me know how we can get the use of PayPal Advanced into CBsubs. This is very different from Paypal Pro. I also asked about this many months ago & was told it would be available in a newer release which i thought was this one so i have purchased the GPL license. i have also seen other posts with the same thing on the forum. i would appreciate all of the information that you could give me in regards to this.

We don't have PayPal Advanced yet, but I'm working on it. For now We've PayPal Regular and PayPal Pro. Sorry for the inconvenience as when I originally informed you of this it appeared our Pro gateway would work fine for it (we all thought this). If possible will try to have PayPal Advanced released this week.

that would be most excellent! we have clients that are waiting to sign up because they do not have nor want a paypal acct & having advanced fixes that issue for many as they can pay with a card from the site. thank you for getting on this!!!

You can already do that with PayPal Pro or Authorize.net as they are both on-site payment solutions. You just need to be PCI compliant (have working SSL).

Thanks for this information. I also am only signed up for Advanced (not Pro) and my client is getting tired of waiting. Hopefully this can be taken care of this week.

Yes I realize but I use PayPal advanced instead of pro. Pro has many features that we do not need. Advanced has the features we use & prefer. Thank you for adding this in as it will help many people! I look forward to the update! God Bless
