Visible for Access / Group Level

Visible for Access / Group Level was created by mamamia
Is there a way to make a Subscription Plan available (or not available) to a select set of Joomla Groups that are not children of each other?

For example, I see that under the "Access" tab of a Subscription Plan configuration there are the following two drop-down settings:

Visible for Access
Visible for Group

I would like to make my Plan visible to two custom Groups, which I've created (one is a child of Public, and the other is a child of Registered). The end goal is so that not all Registered users will have this plan available for upgrade--only those who are assigned proper access.

Seems to me that I would need these single-select drop downs to be multi-select options instead so that I can select/designate my two custom Groups.

Is there another way to achieve what I'm trying to do?

Yes, create a new view access level within Joomla that has your two usergroups selected. Then set "Visible for Access" to it and just leave "Visible for Group" as "Public". Should work fine. We're phasing out Usergroup usage, so expect to use view access levels more often as they're appropriate usage.
