Modifying products/usersubscription/cbpaidUsersubscriptionRecord.php

7 years 1 month ago #290867 by polo974
Hi,

I want to modify the line 1054 of this file :

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/products/usersubscription/cbpaidUsersubscriptionRecord.php

to remove the ":" before the variable $validityText here : $validityIfNotAutoRec = ': ' . $validityText;

but if i do that, I suppose that I'm gonna lose this modification at the next update of CBsubs. Do you know how to avoid that ?

Best regards

Paul

There is no avoiding it. If you modify core files your changes will be lost on update. Looks like that's just the [VALIDITY] substitution with : before it. Which you maybe able to simulate using the below.

[cb:if VALIDITY_IF_NOT_AUTORECURRING!=""][VALIDITY][/cb:if]

Hi,

Thanks for your ansmer. Where shall I put this string ? In the backend of cbsubs, or in a specific file ?

I'm sorry for all this, I'm just beginning to understand how cbsubs works :)

Anywhere that you're using the [VALIDITY_IF_NOT_AUTORECURRING] substitution as the code you're changing is just extra substitution strings.
