Subscription Tab name and language substitution

7 years 2 months ago #291817 by richbrundage
How do I get the Title of the CB Paid Subscriptions Tab and custom tabs to translate when using multiple languages? I have set the title to Join/Renew in CB Tab Management. I have installed both the CB and CB Subs language plugins (Japanese).

Thanks

I recommend setting them to a language string. Example as follows.

TAB_SUBSCRIPTIONS

Next within language overrides for your language plugins you can translate them as follows.

Key: TAB_SUBSCRIPTIONS
String: Subscriptions

See the below regarding usage of language overrides.

Thank you, that works fine. Worth noting, as discussed in the link regarding usage of language overrides, that you need to do the override in the main CB language plugin, when I tried doing it in the CB Subs language plugin the substitution was not made in either default or alternate language.

Yeah, CBSubs language plugins don't load overrides at this time. They'll only work for CB language plugins.
