[SOLVED] [#7021] Importer DB Error

6 years 2 months ago - 6 years 2 months ago #301775 by bins
I am trying to close a membership level/plan and want all people in that plan to become expired.

I go to Import and choose Source as 'Free Plan' & 'Active'.
Import Destination 'Free Plan' & 'Expired' - date from Y2K (very old).

When I run the importer I get:
1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line

I have run all of the CB and Joomla DB checks and all run clear.

Help!

Is the free plan a free lifetime plan? If so do you have CBSubs configured to create subscriptions for free lifetime plans within CBSubs > Settings > Global? If not please enable that and see if that solves it.

'Create Subscriptions also for free lifetime plans' is set to yes.

I have played around with this setting and 'Allow Free Registered Users (without subscriptions)' and all gave the same response.

Thanks for your detailed report. I could reproduce the issue (got tracker number #7021), and find the reason and fix it in the nightly just released to downloads.

Hope that allows you now to import your plans. Please make sure that they are not exclusive with existing active subscriptions, as that's something that the import function is checking.
