Update to 4.2 and one Menu item broken ( unless admin)

Log in as a free or paid user ( or not logged in at all, public)

Error: 0 - Class 'ContentHelperRoute' not found


Accessing our sites's K2 blog menu link. Only on the live server!

STILL WORKS FINE ON OUR DEV SERVER after upgrade

And... Log in as super admin on live server, it works fine!!

Any hints?? I am running the latest K2 blog ver 2.8.0 which was just released a few months ago...

I have now rolled back our LIVE to backup... (CBS 4.1.1) but its a real mystery why the 4.2.0 update didn't break anything on the DEV server ( which is a clone of the LIVE...) - ahh wait..

I now can see that it is HALF broken on the DEV server, it only works for super admin or PAID users... if I log into DEV as Free user or not logged in at all ( public) then it's broken there too.

Error: 0 - Class 'ContentHelperRoute' not found

I'm getting way too complacent in my testing :-(

I had done some cursory post-DEV-upgrade functionality checks of the Free and (Public) state, but just not the blog link ( since thats normally public, anyway...)

Joomla 3.8.5 PHP7.12
CB 2.1.4
CBsubs 4.1.1+build.2017.11.10.22.34.28.88a20744b upgraded to 4.2.0 today

ContentHelperRoute is a part of Joomlas content router for converting URLs to SEF and back. CB will call ContentHelperRoute when routing in CB Blogs and CB Articles, but CBSubs doesn't call it anywhere. Try unpublishng CB Blogs and CB Articles to see if issue persists.

CB blogs and CB articles are both already unpublished... (issue is not related to them, it seems)

Try unpublishing CBSubs Content. That's the only thing in CBSubs that affects content directly. Aside from that I can't see how CBSubs would have any affect on K2 (CBSubs Content doesn't even integrate with K2; it's Joomla content only).

Testing... I Unpublished CBSubs content, and K2 blog still broken ( no effect)

Also, public - broken
free user - broken
Paid user - works
Admin - works

Strange thing is, when it works ( paid user or admin) the K2 content now displays a TITLE, which it shouldn't ( it doesnt in the Previous CBsubs version.)
