Incomplete Payments in my Stripe Dashboard

4 years 2 months ago #316037 by Wortmann
Hi,

I use some different gateways: Paypal and Stripe.
In my Stripe dashboard there are 'incomplete payments'. These are subscriptions with a paypal payment.
Why they are submitted to Stripe? It seems something is running wrong. But what?
Have you got any idea?

Thank you.

Regards
Jens.

Depends on the payment method you're using with Stripe and what features you're using. If using a hosted solution it has to pre-generate the payment and token at Stripe during the basket view before they click the payment button. If using credit card payments and using SCA to further secure payments it has to generate an identity token early. All of which should expire (believe they're supposed to expire within 24 hours) and can safely be ignored.
