[SOLVED] content/article not being protected by plan

3 years 10 months ago - 3 years 10 months ago #319159 by cjmicro
I have 4 plans that should restrict access to a category. It does not seem to work. The only way I can get it to work is to restrict the content item by "group" (each subscription puts users into a group). But that does not propose the plans to the user, it just says you are not able to access this item.

The cbsubs content plugin is published

The article is set to public

All articles are up to date

The content tab has the item selected here:
READ: By Content
Contents which access rights depend on this plan root/category/articlename is chosen

But if i go to the article i can read it, even if i try to access it by non sef url. What am i missing?

Are you logged in as a Super User while doing all this? Be sure to test while logged out or while logged in as a regular registered user. Super Users are exempt from CBSubs Content protection, which is configured in CBSubs > Settings > Integrations > Content/Extensions.

Within CBSubs > Settings > Integrations > Content/Extensions what is "Still show intro text for articles" set to? When clicking to view the article does it redirect to registration with the plan suggested for access?
