I don't have Safari at all, so I haven't tested for this case.
I'm willing to bet this is an HTML/CSS issue, as Safari has its own quirks. Regarding FF, my FF on Windows looks fine, so this may be a Mac problem (not sure, though). Also, this could be part of the following:
I found a couple of logic errors as well - namely, the plugins only check for the "official" bridge, but not for the Joomlahacks one. This involves the code that handles the SMF path. I'm now rewriting that routine to test for both cases. It's going to take me a minute or two to get this ironed out.
I'm still stressed somewhat, so I'm mentally not as sharp as I should be.
In any case, I'll try to get my hands on a Safari emulator for Windows. That will really help me figure out what's going on layout-wise for that browser.
It's always the little things that go wonky. In any case, I'll try to have all this sorted out before the weekend is over.
