Image Wont Save was created by jogoeire
Hi There,
User profile images, or any images fields ive created, just wont save for me. The save button just doesn't seem to do anything.

I have the following config:
- Joomla 1.0
- GD2 library Auto-detected, bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
- CB 1.2.1
- Third party host

I get this error with IE
[code:1]Line: 174
Char: 2
Error: 'password.value' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: administrator/index2.php[/code:1]

But in firefox I get this error:
[code:1]Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'filter'. Declaration dropped.
Source File: 78.137.164.71/~national/administrator/templates/joomla_admin/css/theme.css
Line: 30[/code:1]

I have also made sure that all TMP folders and Config files are writable. Media manager does all allow me upload images.

If anyone any idea what could be causing this id appreciate your suggestions. Thanks.

Rob

Does it work in the default Joomla template? PHP version (5.x.x)?

Hi Rapunzl,

I actually trying to upload images through the components user management area in admin rather than through the front end. I wont be offering members the ability to update through the front end.

My PHP version is 5.0.77-community

Thanks :) Rob

Rob,

Although you have PHP5, it's a very early version. 5.2.3 is recommended and 5.2.9 is current. Can you get your host to upgrade to see if that helps?

Hi Rapunzl,
It turns out I had given you my SQL version! My php version is 5.2.7. I guess that rules that out :(
Chat soon. Rob
