i have the same problem like dsendecki had, but to be honest i dont know how to handle the open_base_dir restriction in effect.

this is the error message i'm getting:

Warning: filesize(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp/phpknJeEE) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/www/blabla/) in /mypath/joomla/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbprofilegallery/cb.profilegallery.php on line 278

I got the same error. For me, the problem was related to security settings in php.ini. Make sure that /etc/php/apache2/php.ini (or similiar) uses an upload_tmp_dir not restricted by the open_basedir setting in the same file.
