BIG gap above/below footer in random image module

BIG gap above/below footer in random image module was created by Neale
Greetings... tried search for this to no avail.
The CB Gallery module has a BIG "space" above/below the footer (~50 pixels?). I've tried turning off the footer and the gap still persists under the image.
I've changed the "Gallery Item Display Parameters" from 70,5 to 1,5 ...no difference.
I've tinkered around with all the different settings to see if any effect this... and came up short.
I've attached a jpg of how this looks....
Any suggestions?

Did you guys find a solution for it, I have the same problem and I bet that I´m not the only one?

I've not heard back from Nick.... we had some issues getting him logged in on my site, but, no I have not heard back from him.
