I have thousands of users, when i go the my joomlabackend to import the CB users to phpbb forum, the popup screen needs about 10 minutes to load. Then i see the tabs and stuff, when i import users it takes also a lot of time.

About the import stuff i understand, but why it needs some much time to load the popup? Is their a other way to show that?

Hi lennox,

That is correct. I am happy to tell you that this is solved in our next release. Our next release will be one with a lot of new features and a complete rewrite of the code + that we used the xajax programming language to speed up the whole thing.

For your specific problem we introduced page navigation, so that the thing only loads a X number of users instead of trying to load them all. We even changed the loading proccess so that the popup will load instantly, but then begins loading the data.

Thank you for you're response! I like the idea very much! Joomlaboard is still to 'buggy'for me.

When do you want to release the new version? I get only time-outs, so it is unpossible to test the import thing.

Greg and i are working hard on bugs and features for our next release. We are also working on our own website, bug-tracking system etc. so you will certanly hear from us shortly. I am afraid that due to time constrains i can't give you an exact date, maybe we are going to need testers for the features that are in place for huge user tables... maybe you are willing to help us at that time.

Yes, i have used that allready, but it seems that the plugin cannot handle the amount of users!

The 'popup screen' is showing up, but all blank, sometimes after 10 minutes the info show up (tabs) but most of the time only the white blank screen and then a timeout....

Testers needed? Yes, count me in please
