I changed the welcome plugin permissions to "public" and now it works.
But I get 2 copies of every message: 2 welcome emails and 2 connection requests.

OK...problems solved by unpublishing "PMS myPMS and Pro" plugin...

I want for Connection to be sent to users who have "Author" permission level.
If I set Welcome plugins access to registered or Special, it is not sending message, nor setting the connection. the moment I publish it as "public" it works as expected.
is there way to have the Welcome message and connection set only for "Author" group?
