I got the same problem!
The only component I could not install was CB !!

I installed joomlacloner, sef advance, yanc, latest zoom gallery, joomlaboard, installed jce editor, etc. and got no errors, but when I tried to install CB got the error about com_install() function, and well, when I uninstalled it, I got this also:


Fatal error: Call to undefined function: com_uninstall() in /home/siteXXX/administrator/components/com_installer/component/component.class.php on line 285

What things could I try ?
