I have just done a fresh install of joomla and cb, I have created a menu item pointing to the component so the user can see their profile.

I have registered and get the your not authorized message, Is there any way to get debug info to see where the problem lies

Menu item set to 'Public' I'm sure I'm missing something obvious...

OK. How dumb is that. In CB configuration on the user profile tab set "Allow Access to Everybody".
Having an off day over here, clearly...

This isn't good enough. We should be able to display a registration page instead of just this message.

Anyone know where this string comes from? I did a search and couldn't find it in the files or in the DB.

Hi Analog, that string should be in the joomla language file.
