If your site gets botched from installing this and you need to get back in. Log into your mambo admin site. Then go to the following url:

[code:1]www.yourdomain.com/administrator/index2.php?option=com_installer&element=component[/code:1]
Then you can unistall the component, this will let your menus come back up. As for a actual fix for this still waiting from CB.

Hey Beat,

I did the following when I kept ending up with fatal errors when I was installing with regards to "NOTEXISTS" instead of Not Exists: manually inserted the table in MySQL and delete the query from the xml installation file. Will that cause problems in the future?

No problem.

Also the bug has now been reported to Mambo for hopefully a fix in 4.6.3 and/or 4.7, here for those who watch:

Excuse me if I'm missing something here but I'm still getting the same problem as described by Mayhem100 below. Would greatly appreciate your help.

Regards
Bruce

first see my install help post
I tried your code in mambo administrator/include/admin.php
then tried to install com_comprofiler.zip it went over with out any problems. It said it installed correctly. then my admin top toolbar disapeared. I could see all the rest of the toolbars. I could see community builder was installed via the side toolbar. I tried to run the settings tab and it would not run. Everything else would open properly in other components. i did the dba admin and restored a previous save. it restored mytoolbar. I tried to install comprofiler.zip and got the old error message again.

Let me know what you think please.
Greg

Ps if it would help you i did a dba backup before I did the restore so I have both if it would help you to comapare the 2 it might help make a good fix.

Same here, do we have a fix for getting the toolbar to correctly display after using the fix to get CB1.1 installed? As of now it does nothing but make the admin panel unusable until uninstalling CB.

Frankly.. if you got the choice.. switching to joomla is a great idea :)

Most testers and i think also users, currently are joomla based.. so basicaly we need more mambo testers to make it more stable for mambo :)

Wanna sign up to be a tester for next testing round?

Feel free to PM me :)
