Hi everybody! I'm using CB 1.1, I've created a list with usernames and miniatures for publics access bur doesn't work!!

For example, for the the user "prueba" the link is this: /index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userProfile&user=63&Itemid=5

but "NO PERMISSION" messege is shown, but if i put:

/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userProfile&user=63

it's works! so, how can I remove the "Itemid=5" part?? thanks!!

Hola a todos! uso CB 1.1 y cree una lista donde muestro los nombres de usuarios y su foto para hacerla pública. La cuestión es que cuando veo la lista para el usuario "prueba" tengo el siguiente link:
/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userProfile&user=63&Itemid=5

y me muestra el cartel de "NO TIENE PERMISO PARA ESTE APARTADO" pero si pongo:
/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userProfile&user=63

FUNCIONA!!!

Alguien sabe como quitar la parte "Itemid=5" del link de esa lista??

The menu id 5 (=Itemid) is not set to public access, and joomla checks that !

That's probably CB Profile menu entry... it needs to be set to public, even if the corresponding menu is not displayed to public.

Actually the menu item itself is not a security issue, as the serious checking is done in CB. Indeed Itemid can be changed on the url by anyone, and is not a security in itself.

The profile visibility beeing public or not by public is set in CB configuration and really enforced by CB.

If you don't want the menu item to be visible, just put it in a menu which is not publically visible (e.g. user menu).

look at your menu items.. the menuitem with itemid 5 must be set to public..
