Has anyone come up with a successful hack for including a profile avatar that links back to the user's profile page for Mamblog entries?

I know of Authorbot but read it doesn't work with Mamblog because it's a mambot. I've read other posts on incorporating a profile avatar with articles but haven't seen a Mamblog example yet.

Other than the core Joomla blog system, there are very little 3rd party options out there. I've tried MyBlog and it's great. Unfortunately, it's not working on my site right now and neither me nor it's developers have been able to resolve the issue so far.

If anyone has come with a hack to include a simple profile avatar to accompany user blog entries for MAMBLOG, please let me know!

I have: Joomla 1.0.13 and CB 1.1.
