CB Registration Issue

CB Registration Issue was created by reasterling
OK well we installed CB 1.1 Stable recently and upon going through the manual point by point in configuring it I ran into a problem that is not covered or perhaps the verbage is a bit cloudy.
Whenever I go into the front end to test the registration form I fill it out completely and hit submit, however I immediately get a popup warning stating that the Name must be entered even though the name field was filled out.
Anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong or is this a known bug?:huh:

not a known bug ...

have you added any required fields to your registration process?

perhaps a url and a test username we we can see?

The url we are testing this at is www.downlinesrus.com/joomla

As we have not been able to successfully register any test name there is no particular test name that is required.
We did add the [NAME] field as a required field
as well as [UserName] and [EmailAddress] as none of these fields came with the installed version which I found to be somewhat odd.
When I first added the Title of the NAME field I received a popup which stated that SQL required the cb_ to preceed the field name, and that it had set this into the name title.

Cheers,
Roberto

Sorry Nick
I didnt catch your meaning at first but after thinking about it for a time I realized you won't be able to see the backend without access. So I have setup a Test username and password with Super Admin rights.
username = Test
password = single1

regards,
Robert

There is something wrong with your installation.
Please unistall CB - drop all the comprofiler tables from your database using phpmyadmin - and reinstall.
