Hey.. I have followed the advice given, but when I disable ftp, i get this error message instead:
JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths
Install new plugin from directory /usr/home/hammy/domains/*******.frih.net/public_html/tmp/plug_cbfireboardplugin - Failed
Failed to create directory "/usr/home/hammy/domains/*******.frih.net/public_html/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbfireboardplugin/"
If i create the folder before hand, it says theres already a plugin installed there.
Yes, the 'user' folder is CHMOD 777.
Yes FTP is disabled.
If enabled i get the first error. Any way around this one? Perhaps a manual install.
