FWIW- it's in 1.5RC4 too- I found the Q&T thread which lead me here, just to be pointed back there (Grr) - I made the 2 string mods (one remove, one alteration) but the php file error still exists-

I'm no coder, and am hoping by the time I get enough users online into CB this will be ironed out- Anyone else have a fix for either RC3 or RC4?

I'm losted too... have same problem and can´t fix it...

I try the quick fix and the error message don't appear again, but the buttoms to save or cancel too.

that problem is after and later the quick fix.

I´m using Joomla 1.5 RC4.

I recently had the same problem with 1.5RC4. I followed the instructions on this site and the joomla site and they fixed the error message.

You need to find lines 528 and 529 in the file com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbcore/cb.core.php.

Change line 528 to this:

$params =& $juser->getParameters(true);

And delete line 529 (remove the following code):

$params->loadSetupFile(JApplicationHelper::getPath( 'com_xml', 'com_users' ));

I saved the file and refreshed my user admin screen. It worked like a champ.

As far as the save/cancel images, mine are where they should be so I'm not sure what to tell you.
