I'm getting mad with UTF or ISO encoding regarding CB.
Steps I follow:
- Download CB 1.1 latest version
- Install the component and the modules
- Then I try to install Spanish ISO plugin, since my page is ISO encoded, and I get the error:

" Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding ! "

- The surprise: If I install a UTF spanish plugin, CB works with strange characters. But if I change from my browser to UTF, CB works completely fine but the rest of the page does not (since is ISO)

The xml installation file of the CB 1.1 states UTF encoding in the first line.

What should I do? I use JOOMLA 1.0.13

Thanks in advance

The language encoding is set in your joomla language file (there should be an ISO string in there).

Thanks nant for the reply.
It's all iso. Well, except the sql collate and language that is set to utf by default.

I've tried several times reinstalling the whole joomla... and community builder only allows me to install spanish in UTF. But then I see strange characters as "Idioma Español para Community Builder (completo)."

Any idea? Perhaps the CB installer is UTF encoded by default?
