In the past I am sure I have seen a plug for CB which creates unique urls's for cb users like www.mysite.com/cbuser has anyone else seen or know of this?

I believe Mikki with the CB Advanced Profile has the subscription based solution for you.

What you want is not possible with this mod
This mod only works with www.website.nl/username
If you want username.website.nl then you have to arrange that with .htaccess
