I must be missing something obvious...???

I'm running CB 1.2RC (with Joomla 1.5).

I'm trying to re-direct by first-time users to index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=70, which is a valid, public article on my site. I can navigate to this url without any problems...

However, when a first-time user logs in, he's still always directed to his profile page, just like if the "URL for first login visit" field is left blank. I've tried not using SEO (using default Joomla SED), I've tried a fully qualified url (e.g., http://), and nothing seems to make a difference.

I've also tried running the CB tools to make sure the db is in good shape. Everything appears fine.

Any ideas on this? I'm sure this works for everyone else...??? One last thought: I'm running this in a Windows environment (Apache). Everything else is working.

I have the same problem. Instead of redirecting he gets me to the startpage.

I was looking down to this too, Searched all over CB login module codes but coudnt find anything related to first login page msg.
So I just hacked my login module to force forward me to first login welcome page
