I figured out the making the user menu, but for the life of me, I can't find the options to add the blog or forum?

I see these in the Community Builder plug in menu, they look to be installed and 'published', but I can't figure out how to add them to the user menu. They don't show up as C/B content...am I missing something silly? I'd just like to create a menu like the one here, below the cb login

Thanks

Same as you did for the profile link in the menu. Menus->Main Menu (or whatever menu you want it in)->NEW. You create your menus the way you want them. You may want to download the Joomla docs to help illustrate the many things you can do. :)

I finally figured it out at about 3 am. What I was looking for was the blog, and forum links, but after much reading and poking around, I discovered that they are NOT included in the install.

I guess that the plugin manager must refer to some sort of integration "bridge" when it says that these were installed (and published) but the components themselves are not.

For anyone else out there, (unless you're much smarter than I)...do not try to install mamblog on a 1.5 install, even in legacy mode. I did, and it created a birdsnest of errors that I could only fix via ftp and phpmyadmin.

I'm new to CB, and trying to digest a lot in a hurry for a client, so blame myself for being overly eager. I will say though, that looking at how many people had similar issues (menu items) I didn't feel like the lone ranger on this.

Do you know if the 'bridges' will be updated to work with 1.5 components? Perhaps they should be excluded from RC2 for 1.5, or at least 'greyed out'...just a suggestion, and it may have been covered before.

I think I see where I misunderstood you. The mamblog and forum components are NOT included with CB. You choose your own to install. What IS included with CB is the plugins to integrate them with CB after you've installed the component.

When you installed Mamblog, did you enable the Mamblog plugin in Administrator/Community Builder/Plugin Manager?

I'm running 1.56 and RC2. I couldn't get mamblog to install at all...it was a mess actually...Unless I missed something elemental, I DON'T recommend mambot with Joomla 1.5x ...it is a 1.0 component? Or did I miss something?

I think you're right. Was just wondering if anyone had tried with legacy.
