How do you extract a Joomla user's password? was created by msdwebmaster
I'm building a web development, hosting & Internet marketing company. Part of my business process includes having new clients sign a contract and register with my web site in one step using CB 1.2 RC 2.

I also have a license for ClientExec, and want to use the customer support (HelpDesk) features of that program.

In order to make it as simple as possible for my customers, I only want them to have to remember one username/password login combination. Once they've registered w/ my site, however, the password field of the users table is encrypted so I have no idea what the value is. I need to be able to port it over to ClientExec when I set up their account, and don't know how to do that.

Can anyone help me out with this? Is there a simple way to extract the true value of the password field using phpMyAdmin or something?

It's not possible to extract password from hash.
But maybe You can send this encrypted password into the other database...
