Sub-pages in profile

Is there a way to create sub-pages in the profile?

For example, I want 4 pages in the profile:
1) My Profile (home profile)
2) My Friends (a user list of friends)
3) My inbox (using a PMS system, haven't decided on which yet -- recommendations are welcome :) )
4) A various link

I know all of these can be created via the tab management and kept on 1 page, but I would like it on 4 separate pages. Any suggestions?

Not in CB 1.2 RC 2.

It's something on our future roadmap though...

But you can make the right tab shown upfront from a link to profile, by adding:


&tab=XYZ

to the URL,
with XYZ being one of:

- plugin-class of tab (prefered)
- id of tab
- title of tab

Maybe that solves your problem of today to display the "right" page from a link ?

Beat:Good to hear its on the future roadmap.

In the meantime, here's something I think may work:
Using the usermenu in Joomla, I can possibly divide it amongst sub pages:

-My Profile link is already set up
-My Friends will link to a list using the "list management" and somehow list only the friends
-My Inbox will link to the message panel

I think the only problem with this scenario is if I'm unable to use the list management to list only the friends. What do you think?

For this you have a "connections" tab which lists the friends ;)

Very true, but this won't work for creating a separate page from the profile :)

Is there anyway to create a list of friends (i.e. connections) for each user using the List Management?
