Auto set new users to Publisher when they register

Auto set new users to Publisher when they register was created by pagecafe
Is there a way to automatically set a new user to the Publisher group when they register into CB?

We need to let the person register at the site, then post links and blog entries without moderator approval.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

i do not belong to joomlapolis team but, as far as i know, publisher will be able to act tnot only on his article but also on other members articles. I could be dangerous for date protection.

There is a Joomla 1.5.3 global parameter setting that CB also honors.

Did you test it?

Not that I know of.
A CB plugin could be written to do this.

Upcoming CB paid subscriptions plugin will allow you to this also in Mambo and Joomla 1.0.15, also for free registrations. ;)
