Connection "Add" function not visible

Connection "Add" function not visible was created by pvh
After installation of this fabulous RC2 again, I am completely taken by the icon's that are available.
One problem I have, and I am sure it's me, is this:
When I want to make a connection to another member of the website, when I open the profile I do not see the "Add" function in order to make the connection.
I believe I have set all the connection parameters needed but no joy.
Any thoughts?
