There is no date approximation. As soon as the incredibly efficient developers iron out the bugs they think are relative by weeding through all the posts in this forum, it will be released. Every request for a release date is another post, so please sit tight or purchase a documentation subscription to speed up the process (and also obtain 1.2 before the public release).

and I think I'm not alone waiting for this relaese! so it would be nice informing all the community about the release. if they have 150.000 people waiting for it.. everybody probable has some planes, maybe searching already for an alternative..

CB 1.2 stable will mainly be a bugs fix release of the known issues of CB 1.2 RC 2, as listed in the known issues forum (not yet complete list, a few things awaiting confirmation).

We are currently working on the stable release of CB 1.2 as well as on the core CB team plugins.

It's hard to give a release date, and I have been caught badly several times when giving time estimates, due to many factors.

I would *guess* it's weeks, not months, but also not days, until we release the stable release.

Following needs to be done until we release:

- finish fixing known issues (we are around 50% done on that task)
- issue beta to test-team and install on this site
- re-scanning forum for missed issues
- fixing those issues and those reported back by testteam
- issuing second beta and then final RC to test-team and also install on this site.
- release stable, package tested in test-team just before release.

During that time we also have a few other tasks to complete as well (e.g. finishing beta of the core team plugins). One of those time-consuming tasks is helping others in this forum. So any help in here is easy and highly welcome, as it will shorten the time-to-release significantly.

The test-team is complete and well working, please do not apply for CB 1.2 release cycle, it would only slow us down.
