public access to user contact form in CB 1.2 RC 2 was created by vilhelm

How do I set it up so the public can access and contact a registered user in their profile through the contact form? I have set it so the Email is visible in the profile but when clicking on the link the following messages appear?

Make sure both your menu item and the contact list are both set to public in the parameters.
