I tried applying the fix.

Do I replace the code located at 'function sendnewpass" with what is suggested?

I tried adding the line sugested but this did not work.

(BTW, tried posting code example here and the post was rejected)

But I replaced the line with the one you supplied, and the lost username link produces a blank screen.
