Thanks. I must have missed these in my vain searches for basic "how to" info...

What is Community Builder? What does it supposed to do? A one-page description would be fine.

I really only installed CB on the strength of testimonials. It sounded great.

I had no trouble installing it. I am fine with Joomla. Then I drew a blank. I saw very few new functions within my Admin setup.

Forgive me, I've been round and round in circles looking online for a simple description, tutorial, or working Demo page.

So I want to find out what those glowing testimonials were all about. Failing this, how do I uninstall CB?

Niko,
WHat do you mean?
Have you found some documentation somewhere?
If so, where is it? Why the "Thank you for your post"?

Nick... please correct me if I am wrong. Am I understaning correctly that Joomlapolis CB must be installed as Extentions to Joomla? And I would need to install seperate Extentions to fully intergrate all aspects of Joomlapolis?

I'm not Nick -- but to answer your question. Yes!

Community Builder is a Joomla component. It extends and enhances the joomla registration process.

It also comes with an API -- so third party developers can make extensions, called "plugins". For example -- the profile gallery in the profiles here on Joomlapolis is a third party "plugin".

So you are correct!
