Sorry gave priority to forum (and couldn't catchup PMs yet)...

As I replied in PM to you, active testers of CB testteam (thank you all active testers ) are of course entitled to CB 1.2 RC, as we already wrote in CB testteam area a few days ago, and the very active ones also to a free doc subscription as well, as already said in testteam area.

Also very active forum members who very pro-actively helped out these last months already received, or will receive soon, a free doc subscription or a free renewal as a thank you (hope we don't forget someone !).

Just some typographical errors...

In the "README.txt", in the EXPERT only section, the TAR syntax is incorrect.

This is what it currently says:
tar -xvfz ...

This is what it should say:
tar -xvzf ...

The "z" and "f" need to be switched.

Also, just above that, it says:
... (excluding ue_config.php whic should ...

The word "whic" should be "which".

I hope this helps! I'll post more, if I find any. =)

Thanks for the English typo.

In linux systems, the order of options doesn't matter (checked man page). In which system did it matter ?

(I changed it as it doesn't matter, but just curious)

Mattoi, (and others)

We are working on fixing the known issues of the 1.2 RC / Known issues subforum, and progressing well, while keeping a close view on forums to detect if other issues arise in the mean time.

We will be releasing fixes/workarounds/RC2 if needed, once they are fixed and tested.

It shouldn't get long, but, well, i got to much hit for setting and missing a date, so i learned my lesson: it will be ready when it's ready.

good work team, I can see everyone is happy and i can see the new systen in use on this site,
but just wondering, when will it become "CB1.2 Stable" for everyone to download, as I have left my site on hold and not bothered to do anything further to it until I have installed the Cb1.2

CB 1.2 RC is pretty stable, except for the few "known issues" listed in the CB 1.2 RC / known issues subforum here.

We are working on fixing these issues (some are requiring several more days of work for the fix).

Most probably this will lead to a CB 1.2 RC 2 sometimes, given the fixes. From there on we will see what issues come up before releasing CB 1.2 stable to general availability. I would say at least 2-3 weeks up to CB 1.2 stable remaining.

If the known issues don't affect your site or development, you don't have to keep your site on hold, just get CB 1.2 RC (your doc subscription will help you get started quicker and it will also help the team to continue working full time on this).

The upgrade path between CB 1.2 RC and RC2 or 1.2 stable will be very smooth.
