This thread discusses the Content article: CB 1.2 RC4 Publically Released

CB 1.2 RC 4 is now available to all Joomlapolitans, for free.

Many thanks to Nick for helping tons in reaching this important milestone.

Many thanks also to all the active CB testteam members, and also to the GroupJive team who helped test and improve the API to a new level in RC4.

Btw GroupJive 1.7 RC is now also available for download on the groupjive website

We consider this as a serious Stable release candidate, with all known issues in this forum fixed.

If things go well and there are no bugs reported, it will become CB 1.2 Stable with only a few improvements and last minor fixes.

The API should now be identical to what it will be for CB 1.2 Stable.

Documentation subscribers have access now to the new CB 1.2 RC 4 manual, and will have very soon more bonuses as well.

Only one question: When I can download the new cb plugins and where I can buy the new template for the cb profiles?

Wonderful job folks. I have not had time to put it through the run yet as it is late here.

Everything upgraded well from CB 1.1 with no issue and the database upgrade script ran flawlessly.

The Joomla Component shows as j1.5 native.

In order to get the modules to show native I had to change the Mambo install call in the xml files from:

<mosinstall type="module" version="1.0.0">

to a J1.5 install call

<install type="module" version="1.5">

It bothered me -- Now my j1.5 compatibility column looks all pretty with nice green check marks

I'll poke around a bit more after I get some sleep.

Oh I thought that the new plugins will be downloadable with this release BUT - No Problem - Good work as always Iam sure the Plugins will come next days right
