JCE editor

JCE editor was created by jvd88
Hello,

I have the JCE editor as default in my Global settings.
Frontend parameters enabled.

In CB also params enabled and published.

The only one that can change the default editor in it's profile is the Administrator (me).

As i login as a registered user, the field doesn't show up in my profile.

What do i have to change ?

My site is running on 1.5. Joomla.

Regards,

Joep van Drunen

I believe this is a limitation of Joomla.

Not that I know of. Editor can't even be selected for users via backend using standard Joomla management. It's just a limitation of the system. As standard users have no reason to be editing. It's designed for them to not be asked to configure it. They'll use the global editor though.

This is a Joomla related issue though; not CBs doing encase others run into the same situation.

I'll make all my users editor and make my own documents uneditable. Only administrator rights.

That does it.
