Hi Nick,

Thank you for the reply.
Sorry, I am newbie so didnt know where to post.
So I post it again here -

+ telling people what version of Joomla you have
1.5.10

+ what version of PHP

5.

+ what version of CB?

1.2 Stable

+ if you are not at CB 1.2 stable please upgrade
+ if you are at CB 1.2 and just didn't mention it, then please do not post in CB 1.1 area of forum - post new thread with details in CB 1.2 stable area
+ finally post an actual example of this erratic in your opinion behaviour

Well, I am creating different groups of doctors like - Orthopedic surgeons,
-General surgeons
-ENT surgeons and so on.

The common list of all the registered doctors show up fine.

But when use the filter to show only Orthopedic or ENT surgeons -
-It shows jumbled up list of random doctors.
-The list does not have any relation to the filter.
- It shows ENT doctors in Orthopedic list and vice versa

Sometimes when you click the link for Orthopedic or ENT doctors - it throws up a blank page and says "no such list".

I used the folowing filters -

1.Occupation EQUAL TO Orthopedic or ENT or ....
2.Interest EQUAL TO orthopedic or ENT or ....
3.Fax EQUAL TO 1 for orthopedic, 2 for ENT, 3 for...

Nothing seem to work.

I would appreciate if you could help me.

You can take a look of my site here -
s-oaks.co.uk/index.php

PLEASE CLICK DOCTORS LIST

The lists you will see are all jumbed up random members list.

regards,
ken

Forgot to mention - I copied and pasted the filters from the fields to avoid spelling mistakes.

For ex -
I copied the Orthopeics from the 'occupation' and pasted in the filter to create exact filter spelling.

Then tried "Occpation EQUAL TO Orthopeics" and so on...

Is your CB occupation field a text field?

if yes, try the LIKE %ENT% method.

There is an example in the documentation.
