Template problem: my site does't look like demo!

13 years 7 months ago #141983 by aryoseto
I installed mycommunity template wich is j15template_mycommunity_10.zip, for Joomla 1.5.6. But my site does not look like figure.8 in page 11 of the guideline or demo preview. Top menu position is under the newsflash. Furthermore, The parameter file \templates\mycommunity\params.ini is unwritable!
How can I solve this problem? thanks

You're going to need to move modules around until it fits your need. I certainly hope it wasn't expected to install a template and it instantly configure your site, that is not how it works. You also need to install CBs template if you want MyCommunity profile style.

Please read your included documentation; the setup is already been explained there. This is basic Joomla template usage.
