Renew button redirect in front-end

Renew button redirect in front-end was created by munk38
When a user chooses to renew their membership I would like to redirect them to a custom page before they see the payment process. The purpose of the custom page is to give more details about the renewal process. They then can click a button to be taken to the payment screen as it exists now and I will pass the necessary variables in the url.

Is this possible to do by editing some code?

Thanks in advance.

I think I will just create a page and put it before the renew process. Seems way easier. Thanks.

As far as I am aware there's no feature to do this. It also can not be edited in as CBSubs is encoded. You can redirect the expired subscription URLs for registered users via CBSubs > Settings > Display > Expiration however am not aware of Renewal redirects. In CBSubs > Settings > Dsiplay > Baskets you can configure "Renew Account Intro Text:" to display custom text if you're needing to display additional information to renewing users.
