[#2539] Content Protection Issues was created by janetgot
Hi,
I'm trying to set up a members only area in a Joomla 1.6 install with CB and CBSubs installed. I believe I have the installation and configuration set up correctly, and have designated content that I want available only to members. However, no matter how I configure it (by category, menu or even individual content articles) I can still see the content if I am not logged in as a member. What am I missing here? I've looked in the forums and documentation, but am not seeing any troubleshooting tips.

Thanks,
Janet

Have you installed the content bot (joomla plugin)?

bot_subs_XXX.zip ?

Yes, I see cbpaidsubsbot in the Plugins folder and it is enabled.

Please check in CBSubs Settings -> Integrations -> Content/Extensions:
Still show intro text for articles:

parameter and make sure is is configured properly for your articles.

I've tried setting it in a variety of ways, but it didn't make a difference.
However, I noticed in the CB Plugins Manager, the CBSubs Content Plugin states: WARNING: you also need to install and publish the CBSubs Bot CMS mambot/plugin.

I had installed bot_subs_112-E.zip in the regular Joomla extensions. If I try to install it in the CB Plugins Manager, I get the following error:

ERROR: Could not find a CB XML setup file in the package.

Installation file not found:
/home6/dubenutr/public_html/tmp/install_4dd2c70e57e52/bot_cbpaidsubs/

This means that the bot_subs_112-E.zip has not been installed or enabled.

Please make sure your Joomla plugin manager shows a cbpaidsubsbot row that is enabled.
