I will be collecting the user's first name (among other things) before they actually get to the CB registration page.

Currently, I have a simple form on my frontpage that collects name, email, and zip code. The form action is actually the "index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=registers" page, and I have been able to modify the components/com_comprofiler/plugin/templates/default/default.php file to make sure that it receives the passed-on-to data, and it does it fine using POST.

The problem is that I seem to be unable to affect the form at all—I'd like to make the passed-on-to info actually a part of the form. How do I do this?

This is mission critical, as we need to have people be able to register on the front page with a form in a module position (similar to how facebook has it).
