OK, I'm now on Joomla 2.5.4 and the settings page is working.

Thanks for feedback.

Joomla 1.7 end-of-life was end of February 2012.

Everyone should consider upgrading to J25 asap (for security reasons as there are known issues in 1.7 that have been resolved with 2.5).

Thanks for the bug-report, confirmed. It only affects General CBSubs Settings in backend on Joomla 1.6/1.7. Fixed for next CBSubs 2.0.1.
