The alphuserpoints plugin only provides a display in the user profile page of the points a user got.

We need a integration which will award a specific amount of points when subscribing to a specific plan.

I´m using this for giving a different discount for different subscribers through userpoints,with which they can get a discount or even pay in the shop.

Just to have a complete Feature Request, I'm writing more details (even if only some of this is implemented on a 1st step, this would be very very welcome):

1. Ability to award points when user subscribes to a plan (different points for different plans). For recurrent subscriptions, every time a payment posts, the user would get points.

2. Ability to give points to the referrer! This is very important as you want to award your users who refer other people to your site and that ultimately subscribe.
For recurrent subscriptions, ideally we'd be able to specify whether we still want to award the referrer on every successive payment or not.

3. Ability for a user to use his/her points to purchase a plan. This could be divided into 2 subfeatures:

a) Ability to specify how many points a subscription plan costs (besides its real money cost). For example, a plan might cost $10/month or 100 points. The user must have all those 100 points or pay $10. This is handy for those who want to ensure a user can only purchase a plan using points when he/she has the total # of points required (otherwise user would have to pay the full amount).

b) Ability to use points for a discount (when the user does not have the total # points needed). This could be in the form of an additional checkbox in feature "a" allowing admin to specify whether we want to allow partial points payment giving a discount to users. Thus, we could specify for example 10 points = $1. Thus, if plan is $10 or 100 points, and the user selects to buy with points but only has 50 points, he would only have to pay $5.
Another way to implement this feature "3.b" would be as the current AlphaUserPoints plugin for virtuemart where a user can convert points into a discount coupon to use in the virtumart store. In this case, the discount coupon would be for CBSubs.

Looking forward to see any or all of this implemented!

Let's start with point 1 (first part), maybe 1 (second part).

For points 2-3, you can already use affiliates systems such as PostAffiliatesPro which is well integrated in CBSubs.
to track and payout for referrals, also for recurring payments.

For points 2-3 within CBSubs that's clearly something for a later release...

If there would be a alphauserpoints payment processor, allowing for negative price handling as well (so instead of substracting an addition of points or a checkbox for substraction or addition not to complicate current paymentprocessors handling negative numbers) you´re almost there for a lot of the requests asked for.
To be perfect multiple currency would need to be implemented , but a simple solution by just the payment processor would probably do the trick.

In that way no need for extra storage of values, everything could be done within the payment processor. (see VM, there is a similar plugin payment module doing exactly that, including a simple value conversion between list prices and user points)

A split payment could be done by first selling a money plan, and then upgrading using a user points plan. This upgrade is just a click, because the alphauserpints payment processor doesn´t need any confirmations or whatever. Even default ticked subplan would do the trick in one go!
