groupjive & CB Subs

groupjive & CB Subs was created by h.kleinveld
Hi, I have a question.

I'm working out a system where one can create his own club inside my website using Groupjive. (say a football-club). The idea is then that people can become paid members of this specific club. So there will be subscription plans for

a) group owners
b) club members

this should be possible with CB Subs and Groupjive combined. Now here come's my question:

could I edit CB Subs in such a way that a group-owner could set his own types of members (silver member, gold member, platinum member) and set different prices for them. I don't know in how far CB Subs is open source.

Please let me know if there's a solution to this as it is a vital step in the project I am doing.

In CBSubs 1.0.x, all settings are by site admin in backend. Members and groups can't setup and sell their own subscriptions.

Hi, then I still have my other question:

can I edit the source code myself so I can program that function in? It's vital for the assignment I am doing.

No part of the source is currently available for modification.

Hi, I have an idea: I could make the following right?

> have a club make different types of memberships (stored somewhere in the database)

> make a form, and people can make donations to their club, using CB subs.

> another page/script checks which status they have, looking at the donation and what the membershiptypes are.

this could work right?

3* yes (third with a simple query to database)

Sorry for late reply, somehow this thread slipped through our reviews.
