Child plans

Child plans was created by bastiaan
I'm a bit struggling with setting up the plans in the right way. Hope someone can help me a bit:
I have the overal plan A lets say it covers seeing all video;s, downloading ebooks etc.
Then I have plan B that only shows the 3 chapters of video
and plan C, D,E that covers watching video chapter 1,2,3
In my idea B would be a child plan of A and CDE child plans of B but I see only one level parent plans: Root or one level below root.
Am I looking in the wrong place or setting it up the wrong way?
Please guide me.

Does your use case envision people subscribing to all plans?
If so, you can make them non-exclusive.

Hi Nant,
At the moment I have them all non-exclusive.
IF people subscribe to A, the have access to ABCDE
IF people subscribe to B they have access to BCDE
IF people subscribe to C they have access to C
But they must be able to upgrade from C to B or C to A

Then perhaps the following structure might work for you:
| - Plan A - might be called "All-Inclusive" gives access to ABCDE
| - Plan B - might be called "Partial"
|--- Plan B1 - child of B gives access to BCDE
|--- Plan B2 - child of B gives access to C
Plan A and B are exclusive
Plan B1 and B2 are exclusive
| - Plan A - might be called "All-Inclusive" gives access to ABCDE
| - Plan B - might be called "Partial"
|--- Plan B1 - child of B gives access to BCDE

But because Plan B is not connect to A it will not be part of the upgrade options automatically?

The suggested structure should propose:
Plan A as an upgrade to all Plan B subscribers.
Plan A and Plan B1 to all Plan B/Plan B2 subscribers.
Plan A and Plan B2 to all Plan B/Plan B1 subscribers (* - see note)
Plan B as an upgrade to all Plan A subscribers (* - see note)
* - you might not want to propose such upgrades (you can conditionally configure such cases in the plan workflow tab).
