CBSubs 1.3r - Field Substitution List

12 years 1 month ago #192583 by nphic
Folks,

Where can I find a list of valid field substitutions that can be made in the Mailer function? I want to add Plan Name and Price. Can't seem to find them anywhere.

Thanks,
Joe

You can use all CB field substitutions to make an emailing personal.

There are no CBSubs substitutions.

If you want the mailer to be for a specific plan only, then you need to make sure that the mailer is triggered only by the plan and hardcode all plan specific values (name, prices, etc).

Nant,

Thanks! I was afraid of that outcome. I have 10 plans and need to send a 30, 60 and expiration message. Hardcoding it will make me create 30 mailers rather than 3. It would be nice to add CBSubs field substitutions to mailer in a later release.

BTW. Is there anyway to have mailer use the JCE Editor?

Thanks,
Joe

Mailer should use whatever default editor your site has.

Nant,

Nope. Mailer does not have JCE in it. I've attached a screenshot. The Plans and other areas of CBSubs does have JCE Editor. Any thoughts on how I resolve this issue?

Thanks,
Joe

My mistake - no editor is supported - you have to paste HTML code to textarea at the moment.
