directory integrated with the CB user info was created by carophil
Hello,

I am creating a user website based around CB and CB Subs and would like to create a directory which would use the user information in CB for the directory.

Is there such a plug-in/extension/component ? At the present time we're using Mosets Tree but each user has to enter in information again to appear in the directory. :sick:

Couldn't you just use Userlists built into CB? This will display users and their information. You can limit display of fields, users, or even lists with CBSubs as well.

Thank you for your quick reply !

I planned to install a yahoo-type directory (we installed Moset's Tree but lots of hacking is required).

Do you have any examples of websites using CB user information for a "directory-like" section ?

Not that I am aware, but don't see why it can't be accomplished. Lists can display the information as you see fit and can also be styled with CSS. Also possible to develop a plugin to display directories of users in a tab on a users profile.
